SOUTH SIDE is a 100% Mozambican clothing brand, founded in 2023 by two friends united by a shared dream: to elevate Mozambican fashion through streetwear, building a new story and identity. Our slogan, “Connecting Styles, Inspiring Lives”, perfectly reflects who we are and the impact we aim to create. From the very beginning, SOUTH SIDE was created with the purpose of going beyond clothing. Each piece represents attitude, authenticity, and cultural belonging, connecting different styles and inspiring people to express who they truly are. The brand’s growth has been driven by friends and partners who believed in the vision and contributed to strengthening its presence in the urban fashion scene. The name SOUTH SIDE, meaning “South Side”, was chosen to highlight and celebrate Maputo, the city that inspires the brand’s essence: diversity, creativity, and movement. SOUTH SIDE is embraced by people who value streetwear, cultural identity, originality, and self-expression, using fashion as a form of communication and inspiration.
